Jefferson Boulevard stretches from East to West across Oak Cliff, serving as a de facto Main Street for the community. Its commercial area has been a vital part of Oak Cliff, where neighbors shopped, dined, and enjoyed entertainment. Over the past 40 years, it has become a centerpiece of the Hispanic community and culture. Preziosi will expand on the walking tours he has done of the area.

David Preziosi joined the Texas Historical Foundation as the president and CEO in 2022, after working for 10 years as the executive director for Preservation Dallas. He serves on the Heritage Oak Cliff board, is the vice chair of the Dallas Landmark Commission, and serves on the Landmark Designation Committee. He has written extensively on historic buildings in Dallas for various publications.
