Make History at the Turner House

Once the family home of the president of the Columbia Conservatory of Music, the Turner House was built in 1912 to host private concerts, lavish lawn parties, and entertain high society in Oak Cliff. More than one hundred years later, this diligently restored turn-of-the-century mansion is the perfect backdrop for your next celebration.

Our venue can accommodate up to 125 people (including wait staff), depending on the layout and use of the space, for your next:

  • Weddings
  • Rehearsal dinners
  • Engagement parties, bridal showers, and baby showers
  • Private parties
  • Galas and fundraisers
  • Board meetings
  • Retreats and workshops
  • Music recitals
  • Photoshoot or video shoot

Included with all rentals:

  • Spacious first-floor salons, including a ballroom
  • Charming second-floor bedrooms and mezzanine
  • Grand staircase and authentic Tiffany stained glass window
  • Wrap-around first-floor porch
  • Second-floor balcony
  • Expansive front lawn
  • Warming kitchen
  • 1923 Steinway Baby Grand piano
